Slowly, quietly it builds
Soft and high, light and beautiful
Cellos are next
Deep and long, strokes strong
Low and mellow, power together
Flutes stab quickly
Piercing notes, light and airy
Rising melody, above the bass
Clarinets sing
Call to the birds that circle
Notes so bright and hopeful
Trumpets screech
Announce their presence
Flaring high to the sky above
Trombone bellows
Sliding smoothly into range
Firing notes of ecstasy and pain
Drums beat strong
Boom and crash muffled horror
Fast pace is set crunch of power
Cymbals clash
They shake with fear
Together unleash the demon within
All this when you walk in a room
For that is what you are to me
Such beauty and love such power within
For you alone are my symphony
